Top 10 Things that drive me crazy

#1. Dishes left over from the night before coupled with an untidy kitchen. This is an absolute awful way to begin the day.

#2. Spelling and grammar errors in newspapers. Really, need I say more?

#3. Obnoxiously loud diesel trucks! ESPECIALLY when they are left running for what seems like an eternity and for no good reason.

#4. People who park in NO PARKING zones or handicap parking when there is no obvious signage hanging in their car. Tisk tisk.

#5. The 12 item or less checkout at the supermarket-When there is a line that stretches into oblivion and the person holding up the line has 76 items, looks back at the line, then up at the glowing sign and mouths to the 23 people waiting, “Sorry, I didn’t realize.”

#6. Liars! Those fabricators of facts, story making rumor spreaders. Please just get a life and leave the rest of us alone in peace!

#7. Waking up with cotton mouth. Why doesn’t the 12 hour fresh breath toothpaste work through the night? I’m not even ingesting anything. Another Tisk Tisk to advertising.

#8. Public washrooms. Flush the toilet you barbarians out there!

#9. Paying $38.99 for a box of diapers. Money literally in the garbage. Sheesh!

#10.The price of gas. In this country where we are destroying our own land and selling our oil all over the place, and the price of oil fluctuates like a toddlers taste buds, why are we in BC still paying $1.29 ????

About markella

I am a freelance writer with a creative flare for life. I see inspiration in all that I encounter and have a thirst for knowledge, life, running, cooking, being outdoors, my incredible family and of course taking pen to paper or fingers to keyboard. I spend much of my time as a student in life, learning from kids and all the wonder that surrounds us. I believe in always asking questions, even when nobody else will. l love the bountiful Okanagan Valley, where I call home and anticipate each season, as creativity and inspiration take their form all over the place here. I love the clinche saying, "You've made your bed, now lie in it." I believe we create our paths and determine our futures. Maya Angelou puts it simple and exact, " Be present in all things and thankful for all things."
